Many famous names give their answers: from Stendhal to Mozart, from Goethe to Erasmus of Rotterdam, from Hermann Hesse to Melville, from Dickens to Aldous Huxley, extraordinary tourists who came to Bologna between the sixteenth and the middle of the twentieth century.
