This is the second volume dedicated to Bologna 2000 and draws up the final balance of a unique, most probably unrepeatable, experience that has witnessed the solid and compact participation of the whole town with the only aim of deserving the prestigious title of "European city of culture" she had been appointed. The aim has been fully achieved, and rightly so.
